About
About Global Dentistry Exchange
Global Dentistry Exchange (GDE) is a Malaysia-based continuing dental education platform. It connects dentists and dental professionals in Malaysia with clinicians who teach internationally, through clinically focused courses, hands-on workshops and lectures held in Malaysia and taught in English.
What we do
GDE organises clinical courses for practising clinicians. Each course is built around one subject and one faculty member, in a format chosen for that subject: lecture, live demonstration, hands-on bench training, observation or case discussion. The aim is technique that can be used in everyday practice.
Our standard
One course at a time, run differently. Each course has our full attention, from the room and the bench set-up to the materials in front of you, so the two days feel considered from arrival to certificate.
Everything you need before you pay is on the course page: dates, city, format, seats in each tier, teaching language, CPD status and price.
Faculty
GDE works with international faculty whose clinical and teaching record can be checked independently. Malaysian faculty will join as the programme grows. Each faculty member has a profile listing their positions and what they teach. See the faculty.
Subjects
Current courses are in:
- Restorative and aesthetic dentistry
- Veneers and minimally invasive dentistry
Areas we plan to cover:
- Digital dentistry and digital workflows
- Implant dentistry
A subject becomes a course only when its faculty, dates and payment are confirmed.
Who the courses are for
Dentists and dental professionals. Each course page states who may register and the experience level it expects. The courses open now are for registered dentists.
CPD
CPD status is stated on each course page. The courses open now do not carry Malaysian Dental Council CPD points.
Where we operate
GDE is based in Malaysia. The current courses are held in Kuala Lumpur; later courses may be held in other Malaysian cities where the faculty, venue and format fit.
Current programme
Dates, seats and prices for the courses open now are on the Courses page.
