At the bench

Day 2, as it runs

A minute from the hands-on day of an earlier course.

Who it’s for

A working course for general dentists who already place anterior composites. You should be comfortable with your adhesive protocol and basic layering; the course starts at strategy selection, not bonding fundamentals.

The problem

The shade was right. The result still looks wrong.

Most anterior composite disappointments are not shade failures. They are optical: dentine laid too thick, enamel that does not transmit, a surface that scatters light where it should reflect it. So the restoration reads as a restoration.

The usual response is more time. More layers, more adjustment, more polishing, and a result that still depends on how the day is going.

What you leave with

Six strategies, and the judgement to pick between them.

Estrategic is built around six restorative strategies for anterior teeth, and how to read a case into the right one before you open the composite.

VeneerDirect composite veneering
LayeringDentine and enamel in sequence
RecontouringReshaping what is already there
Deep fake opticsThe optical illusion of natural depth
Strategic additionsAdding only where it changes the read
Simplified techniqueFewer layers, predictable daily practice

The two days

Day 1

The decisions

Optical properties of dental tissues, layering sequences, substrate analysis, smile aesthetic analysis, finishing and polishing.

Day 2

At the bench

Full Masterclass works through the strategies by hand, with composite resins and basic instruments provided and a bur set to keep. Lecture + Observation follows the demonstration from the stage.

Lecture + Observation

You don’t have to work at a bench to learn how she thinks.

Take this one if
  • You want the decision framework first and the hand skills later
  • You want both full days at a lower fee
What this tier does not include
  • A bench, composite, instruments or the bur set
  • You watch the demonstration; you do not place
